Forget Me Not is a memory assistance application designed for lightweight XR smartglasses that uses conversational AI to help users with cognitive challenges manage daily tasks discreetly. By 2050, the number of people living with Alzheimer's is projected to reach 150 million worldwide. Our team created this project based on personal experiences caring for family members experiencing memory loss, aiming to help users maintain independence and dignity.

Built for the RayNeo X3 Pro smartglasses, our system addresses four core daily needs: recognizing important people, remembering daily tasks and moments, finding misplaced items, and guiding users home. Information displays only when needed, emphasizing calm, non-intrusive interactions. We leveraged Estuary to power a conversational AI with persistent memory & spatial understanding. We deployed lightweight on-device computer vision models for facial recognition to preserve privacy.
